In its 19th year the KTC Post Season Cross Country program is a six week endurance athletics program for boys and girls 11-18.  The program gives young athletes an opportunity to experience competitive cross country running, and to give middle school and high school athletes a chance to extend their cross country season  against regional and national competition.

How to Qualify for the Team:  
There are no qualifying standards for cross country.  However this program is not for beginers and is designed to prepare partiicants to experience the next level in cross country.  This program is intended to provide expert instruction to those experienced cross country athletes wishing to perform on a regional and national level.

Program Fees: $67  In addition to program fees, each athlete is also responsible for his or her meet entry fees and travel fees.  All participants must order a KTC uniform for competition.  Uniforms may be ordered online from the front page of the KTC Youth Athletics web site:  www.ktcyouthathletics.org

George Watts
Former Track and Cross Country Coach - University of Tennessee         
Coach Watts has coached individuals that have captured 33 All-America honors on the track and won 21 SEC titles. He coached 800m school record-holder José Parrilla and 1,500m school record-holder Tim Pitcher. Four of his former charges have competed in the Olympics, most recently Anthony Famiglietti in the 2004 and 2008 Games.
