8/3/11 - Tad Gormely Stadium, New Orleans, LA - With the AAU National Track and Field Championships only half over KTC has already crowned its first two National Champions.  Josh Sobota - Midget Boys - Shot Put >>> seen here on the awards stand and Nathan Jones in the Intermediate Boys 2000m Steeplechase - while North Carolina A&T signee and KTC standout Demetrius Green took 3rd in the Young Men's shot put.  WAY TO GO Josh and Nathan on becoming National Champions and Demetrius for a fitting end to a stellar HS career.  Congrats as well to coaches Rob Grabill and Mike Spooner on helping these athletes reach the top of the awards stand.  Competitive team director Shane Begnaud's KTC squad will remain in action through Saturday.  Check out our twitter feed for updates throughout the week.
