June 29, 2011 - Knoxville, Tennessee - KTC Youth Athletics Competitive Track and Field Team takes to Tom Black Track this week (6/30-7/3) for the AAU Area 5 National Qualifying meet.  Over 1400 athletes including KTC's team of 200 will compete for a top five finish required to qualify for the AAU Junior Olympics in New Orleans the first week of August.  KTC's team is lead by Competitive Team Director Shane Begnaud who feels the team is ready despite not being able to compete in the weather shortened AAU Southeastern District Meet.  "We are fortunate that we are able to run every Saturday in June in our Developmental Meets" - "The kids are ready to go"  Click RESULTS for up to date meet results
