KTC/ETHC Elementary/Middle School Cross Country Program

                                       INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - Cross Country Meets

  The series cross country meets and the championship will be held rain or shine.   Meets will not be called off

via the hotline or web posting.  There is simply not enough time for us to do this effectively by noon in order for

kids to be able to get on buses and private transport back home instead of to the meet.  We will call the meet

ON-SITE if conditions merit cancellation.  We WILL run in the rain -- even a downpour.  If there is lightning in the

area we will delay for 30 minutes and wait for it to clear. If at this time it has not we will delay one more 30 minute

period -- before canceling the meet.
